- Easy to store and prepare : Dried to reduce volume, it is convenient to store. Before use, simply rehydrate it by soaking it in water for 10-15 minutes to restore its crunchy texture and green color.
- Culinary versatility : Dried wakame seaweed is ideal for salads, soups or as an ingredient in stir-fries, giving dishes a touch of freshness and marine flavor.
Suggestions for use:
- Rehydration method : Soak the dried wakame in water for 5 - 10 minutes. After soaking, drain and gently squeeze out excess water, and it is ready to use.
- Wakame Salad : After rehydrating the seaweed, season it with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and a pinch of sugar. If desired, add sesame seeds and a drizzle of spicy oil for an extra touch of flavor.
- Miso Soup with Shrimp and Wakame : Make a dashi broth, then add cubed tofu, rehydrated wakame and fresh shrimp. Add a small amount of miso, stir until dissolved and garnish with fresh spring onion.
