Ingredients:

  • Pork fillet: 300 g
  • Green pepper: 1
  • Red pepper: 1
  • Pineapple: 100g
  • Egg: 1
  • Flour: to taste
  • Corn starch: to taste
  • Salt: to taste
  • White pepper: to taste
  • Cooking wine: 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar: 3 tablespoons
  • Ketchup: 4 tablespoons
  • White vinegar: 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Water: to taste
  • Oil: to taste

Procedure:

  1. Preparations:

    • Cut the pork tenderloin into cubes of about 2-3 cm.
    • Cut the green and red pepper into pieces, and the pineapple into cubes.
  2. Marinate the meat:

    • Add salt, white pepper and cooking wine to the pork cubes, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
    • Beat an egg and add it to the marinated meat, mixing well.
    • Mix flour and cornstarch in a 1:1 ratio, then evenly coat the meat pieces with the mixture.
  3. Fry the meat:

    • Heat an adequate amount of oil in a pan to 170-180 degrees Celsius.
    • Fry the pieces of meat covered in flour until golden brown, then drain and leave to dry on absorbent paper.
  4. Prepare the sweet and sour sauce:

    • Mix ketchup, sugar, white vinegar, soy sauce and a little water in a bowl to make the sweet and sour sauce.
  5. Jump:

    • Heat a little oil in a pan, add the peppers and sauté for a few minutes.
    • Add the pineapple pieces and continue sautéing.
    • Pour the sweet and sour sauce into the pan, bring it to a boil, then add the fried pieces of meat, stirring quickly to coat each piece with the sauce.
  6. Thicken the sauce:

    • Cook over medium-low heat until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the meat and vegetables.
    • Turn off the heat and serve the dish.
