Tieguanyin Tea is one of the most renowned varieties of oolong tea, famous for its intense floral scent and natural sweetness . Grown in the mountains of Fujian province, this tea undergoes a partial oxidation process, which gives it a perfect harmony between the freshness of green tea and the depth of black tea. Usage Tips
- Traditional Infusion (Gongfu Cha) : Use a Yixing teapot or gaiwan to bring out the best in the aromas.
- Classic infusion : Pour water at 90-95°C over the leaves and leave to infuse for 30-60 seconds .
- More infusions, more flavour : The leaves can be reused several times, releasing different flavours with each infusion.
- Ideal with light meals or for meditation : Perfect to sip with dried fruit, Asian pastries or simply for a moment of relaxation.
